IPS Advisors Packs 300 Box Lunches for Soldiers Angels
IPS Advisors last week assembled 300 box lunches for Soldiers’ Angels, a nonprofit organization who provides aid and comfort to U.S. military, their families, and a growing veteran population.
Employees collected and donated various food items during the month of June to pack the box lunches at an “assembly event” on June 22, hosted onsite at IPS headquarters in Dallas. The box lunches contained non-perishable goods such as trail mix, fruit cups and tuna meal kits. The finished boxes were delivered to the nearby VA Resource Center to feed veterans served by their facility.
“We are extremely thankful to IPS for their donations and enthusiasm to help so many veterans in need, many of whom are homeless or in transition,” said Danielle Manetta, Voluntary Service Site Coordinator for Soldiers Angels (and active reservist in the U.S. Marine Corps).
In-kind donations for the IPS charity drive is estimated at approximately $5,100. IPS extends a special thank you to two carriers who also donated to the IPS/Soldiers’ Angels June charity drive: Cigna and Reliance Standard.
