2017 HSA Limits Announced

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) recently announced the 2017 Health Savings Account (HSA) limits. While the contribution limit for individuals with self-only coverage increased from $3,350 to $3,400, the family coverage limit remained unchanged at $6,750. Also unchanged are the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) minimum deductibles at $1,300 for self-only coverage and $2,600 for family coverage. Out-of-pocket maximums are also unchanged for 2017, at $6,550 for self-only coverage and $13,100 for family coverage.
