IPS Advisors believes in a strong social responsibility through company partnerships. We strive to create a positive impact for those in need in an effort to project a well-rounded internal and external view of our company.

IPS Advisors 2010 Annual Charity - Promise House

Since 1984, Promise House has served as beacon of hope to teens when they have no where else to turn for help. They are one of the only agencies in North Texas that embraces homeless, runaway, and at-risk teens, with the mission of giving them individualized support, skills, encouragement, and hope to live a better life. Over the past two decades, Promise House has responded to the changing needs of our community by expanding to include nine different programs that bridge the gap in services available to young people struggling to rise above a much wider range of adversity. These programs cover the vital needs of teens, providing emergency shelter, transitional living, pregnant and parenting teen services, individual, group and family counseling, substance abuse prevention and education, street outreach, and educational intervention. The continuum of care they offer is not replicated by any other agency in the area, and is provided at no-cost to their clients.
 
The need for their services in the community continues to rise, and since their inception, they have touched the lives of more than 60,000 young people and their families. Promise House does not give these youth a second chance to succeed—it gives many of them the only chance they have ever had.
